I finally got around to loading some of the quilts that I have been
working on this past year. The spider web quilt was done the previou
year, but I was not sure if I posted the picture.
I was not in the UFO challenge, however I was keeping my own list and
getting motivated by those who were in the challenge. I started out
the year with 43 of my own UFOs and finished off with 22 UFOs …

I set my blocks a bit differently for my Disappearing 9 patch, but it is the same pattern. This quilt used up my bright pieces of fabric left over from making a Scrappy Bargello. The little pieces are about the size of my wedding ring! -Evelyn www.scrappyhappystarfishy.blogspot.com

I just posted pictures of six Advent quilts that I pieced and quilted.
I began this project Thanksgiving weekend and completed it last
Saturday. I did have a year to made them but it is my nature to wait
to the last minute. The quilts went up at my church over the Advent
season with the last two going up this past Saturday. With the

In 2008 I completed 16 UFOs and 7 WIPs/WHIMMs. My UFO goal for the year was
16, so I met it. (The previous year I wanted to complete 12 UFOs, or one a
month, and I …

Good Morning!
For those of you who are new and may not understand, I am your Queen of Quotes.
It is my assigned task to search out and present quotes that will inspire,
motivate or just speak to you. I try to make these relevant to using up that
stash, the world we live in, and life in general. I hope this week’s quotes do
so. I particularly like the quote about habit. I am currently trying to cut
the cable of deficit spending and feel as though each …
There are at least 75 members of Stashbuster who are participating in the No-Buy Challenge. A few of those that I know that signed up are just doing No-Buy on their own, and there are several other members who posted that they are doing No-Buy on their own. So I don’t have any official count of everyone who is doing No-Buy. (And one or two members announced they are doing Low-Buy.) What I can say is that I have received the sign-up charms from 53 people …
